If you’ve been consistently attending FC for at least 6 months and you would like to take the next step in becoming an official member, please consider signing up for membership. You can do so by going to tinyurl.com/FCMemberSpring25. The deadline to sign up is February 23. After you sign up, you’ll be contacted by one of the pastors for a membership interview. There are also three mandatory membership classes, as well as a membership exam you will have to pass before being officially inducted as a member at FC.
Roots Ministry (February 2025)
Roots Ministry is starting back up and our next gathering is set for Friday, February 21. We’ll be meeting at LA High at 7:00 PM. If you’re unfamiliar with Roots, this ministry is an open space for anyone outside the college lifestage to meet one another and grow together in Christ. As usual, we’ll have dinner provided (yay!). To get a headcount for food, please RSVP by going to tinyurl.com/FCRoots221. We also ask that any SALT college students who will be coming for SALT on that Friday to also sign up so that we can have an accurate headcount for food.
Homelessness Care Packages
Outreach Ministry is organizing an opportunity to distribute care packages to neighbors in need. They’ll be meeting at 10:00 AM on Saturday (February 22) at LA High Memorial Park, which is right across from LA High on the other side of Olympic. They’ll be praying together, splitting up into groups, distributing maps of Koreatown with various highlighted areas and passing out care packages. Newcomers Hangout
If you’re relatively new to FC, our Welcoming Team would love to invite you to a Newcomers Hangout, where you can meet the welcoming team members as well as fellow newcomers! It will be held on Sunday, February 23, right after service and right outside the auditorium.
Missions Ministry is planning mission trips to the Philippines and Guatemala this upcoming summer. Info sessions will be held right after service on February 23 and March 2. Swing by the Parent Center (next to the Multi-Purpose Room) by 12:20 PM on either of those Sundays to find out more about our ministry partners and logistical info about the upcoming trips. Family Ministry (March 2025)
Family Ministry is meeting in-person on Saturday, March 1, at 10:00 AM over at the Yoo Residence in Koreatown.
